Amscreen, the UK’s largest digital out of home media owner, has further expanded its UK team with the significant appointment of Mike Hemmings as International Marketing Director. The announcement is the latest top level hire by Amscreen, following recent appointments of Yoko De Souza as Director of Client Sales and Winfried Karst as Chief Executive Officer for Central and Eastern Europe.
Hemmings will work into Amscreen’s European MD Sales & Marketing, Chris Forrester and will be responsible for shaping the Amscreen brand internationally and further developing Amscreen’s growing reputation as a cutting-edge digital media company.
Hemmings has substantial media experience spanning a number of years working at Independent News and Media, EMAP as acting head of magazine marketing and most recently at CBS where he was Head of Marketing. Hemmings helped bring CBS Outdoor's pioneering and successful digital portfolio to market in 2006/07 and more recently led the activity to win B2B marketing award at the Marketing Society Awards for Excellence in 2011.
Hemmings said “This is an exciting move for me and I look forward to joining the team. Amscreen is continuing to grow at an impressive rate and I am keen to help build the brand’s reputation worldwide as it acquires international clients.”
Chris Forrester said “We are extremely pleased to welcome Mike to Amscreen. His experience will no doubt be a great asset to the company as we continue to expand and build the brand internationally. Together with other recent appointments to the Amscreen team, we’re sure Mike will help to enhance our position as a leader in European digital media and I look forward to him joining the team.”
